ACN Director speaks out on Sky News Australia about Nigerian Christians facing 'relentless' persecution from Islamist groups

Aid to the Church in Need Australia and New Zealand National Director Bernard Toutounji says the slaughtering of Nigerian Christians is “persecution” and “not just discrimination”.

“It’s not just killings, Gabriella, we’re speaking of abductions, burned villages, destruction of churches, millions forced into camps where they lack even the basics,” Mr Toutounji told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.

“It’s systematic, it’s targeted, it’s gone on for decades with little accountability.”
